Not all elements of this new bill take effect immediately and most elements will be phased in over the next few years. The Nevada County Veteran's Services Office, located at 988 McCourtney Road in Grass Valley, is open from 8am to noon and 1-5pm, Mon-Fri.---------------------Assists veterans, survivors, and dependents in obtaining Federal, State, and local benefits accrued through active duty military service. Provides information and referral for both service members and their families about military specific resources. ---------------------This is a Ready to Grow (R2G) resource. Ready to Grow is a First 5 Nevada County program to connect children 0-5 with services and information that support their well-being. Organizations with programs that have this R2G tag may have additional programs of interest to families.
